 The Remanufactured Exchange Division of the VATS Group is
located near the Victoria airport in Sidney B.C. With over
300 remanufactured transmissions/transaxles in stock we are
able to meet the need for today's requirements in the
automotive and heavy duty industry. We also have over 1500
transmission cores housed in our large 4000 square foot
facility and outdoor covered storage. The VATS Group
recently purchased with great expense Vancouver Islands only
transmission dynamometer. Automatic transmissions/transaxles
remanufactured by our experienced builders are now tested on
our state of the art dynamometer. This machine performs a
simulated road test and all data is then carefully recorded.
The transmission/transaxle is run through a cold and then a
hot sequence. These sequences include recording transmission
temperature, correct pressures, correct shift patterns, leak
check, automatic upshifts and downshifts, gear train or
converter noise, slippage, vibrations and oil pressure
checks. After the transmission/transaxle has met the
rigorous standards of performance, each unit receives a part
number, installation kit and a serial number for quality
control. From there the unit is put into inventory or
shipped to one of our valued customers. With the acquisition
of the dynamometer we can now ship our already proven and
tested transmissions to our customers with confidence that
they will have a trouble free unit for many years to come.
We also carry standard transmissions/transaxles in our large
inventory as well as ZF emergency brake assemblies. As
production increases we will be looking into shipping our
transmissions across North America.

Welcome to Victoria Automatic Transmission
Service Group (VATS).
The Victoria Automatic Transmission Service Group is comprised of six
automatic transmission repair services in four locations around
Greater Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We service all makes
of Automatic Transmissions as well as general automotive repair.
